Tomorrow is the LAST CLASS of the quarter. YAY for that, but finals? uh-oh 0.o
I was sad both my lab classes ended =( Wed and Today.
Self amusement: For my Wed lab class we had to present our individual projects 15 min each, so it ended up being 4 hours of 15 min presentations. It was kind of painful because it was so long, I didn’t sleep, lights were dark, and the stools are super high but the tables weren’t, and big?! or maybe I’m just small. The whole class time, I was sliding off the chair. But it’s okay, after 3 hours, everyone was dying and my lab TA decided to give us a short few min break. Anyway after each presentations - the class asks questions, and one of the girls asked another girl “Why did you pick 5 drops of water” ( to drip on the snail for her experiment), and the girl answered “… well, I thought 5 was a pretty even number and …(ect. ect.)”. Immediately when I heard that I thought lol no. 5 is an odd number not an even number. But yeah, self-amusement.
I was really happy too, I got 50/50 on my lab report (Thursday lab) even though it’s after +2.5 extra credit. It reminds me of my very first Gchem lab-the teacher was an above average hard grader- or rather we didn’t know what she was looking for so everyone got slaughtered on their lab reports the first week, and then each week my lab report scores went up until finally the very last lab report I got a full score. Even though I only had that one full score out of all the 10 weeks (I ended up with an A in the class), it was one of the best feelings in the world-very self-triumph.
This quarter - this lab class. I have never gotten so many points off lab before, but it was a 9 page lab report that took me 12 hours to write and I really wanted a good grade for it because I like lab (we only had 3 long lab report write ups) and the lab TA. To get almost a perfect with a “good job! =)” written on my lab report, and then have it changed into 50/50, I was really happy.
Also really happy because I came back and took a 5 hour nap.
Time to do some work!
